ARTISTS : a RAW reality?
This book project arises from the need to talk about the daily experiences of artists, whether they live from their creative work or have other occupations.
We are two italian visual artists: Gioia Albano from Milan lives in France,
Cristina Cerminara from Rome where she lives now.
We realized the daily life of an artist can be a titanic challenge.
Today we all perceive a growing pressure to be "productive", efficient, perfect cogs in a machine that leaves very little space to humanity.
The extreme acceleration of technological development also has a profound impact on our daily lives and creative process. (example: IA….)
This project is a wanna be survey for publishing.
The following twenty questions are a work in progress.
We aim to acknowledge the difficulties each of us are experiencing to create alternative collective strategies, mutual support and overcome the current isolation.
